Spike Chunsoft Co., Ltd. has released an updated version of their open-world survival action game, "ARK: Survival Ascended," developed by Studio Wildcard. The game, now available on the PlayStation?5 platform, has received positive reviews from players and is currently selling well. A free update was released on June 5th, which includes a new map called "Core Island." This new map is twice the size of the initial "Island" map and features vast seas as its signature element. It also introduces unique floating islands and underwater civilizations, adding to the fantastical atmosphere of the area. Additionally, players can explore Core Island's water-based creatures such as tamed swimming animals that have similar functionality as submarines; they can launch torpedoes or use binoculars to survey the surface.
Furthermore, "ARK: Fantastic Tames," a paid expansion pack, went on sale on June 5th and offers players access to a new cat-like creature named Pyromane.
